The sustainable development of the construction industry and the emergence of innovative applications continually demand concretes with tailored and enhanced properties. While such materials often perform remarkably well in laboratory conditions, their real-world implementation and reliable behaviour prediction remain challenging, as they frequently fall outside established standards, design routines, and recommendations. The transition of these non-traditional concretes from experimental development to practical use thus represents a complex, interdisciplinary task requiring collaboration across research, engineering, and industry.
The 8th edition of the Non-Traditional Cement and Concrete Conference (NTCC 2026) aims to foster this collaboration by providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experience in the research, formulation, testing, and application of advanced cementitious materials.
Today’s non-traditional cements and concretes may become the standards of tomorrow. It is our hope that this conference will contribute meaningfully to that transformation. Come and join us in the endeavour of this transformation.
